Carrie Roberts Memorial Scholarship

In honor of the late Ms. Carrie Roberts, former treasurer of the Black Faculty and Staff at Brooklyn College, we have created the Carrie Roberts Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is designed to help support Brooklyn College students of sub-Saharan African descent (Black) who are in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Our goal is to award two students (one undergraduate student and one graduate student) a year with $1000 each, at the beginning of every fall semester.
To ensure the scholarship is well funded and immediately available to students, you can visit the Brooklyn College Foundation website and make a one-time or monthly charitable donation online. Please be sure to note in the boxes marked “Name of whom your gift is in memory/honor of” and “Comments” that your gift is for the Carrie Roberts Memorial Scholarship.
You can also write a check or money order payable to The Brooklyn College Foundation, Inc. and write “Carrie Roberts Memorial Scholarship” in the memo section. You can then mail your donation to:
Brooklyn College Foundation
2900 Bedford Avenue
Brooklyn, NY 11210-2889
All donations are tax deductible. Please forward the confirmation of your payment to the BFS@BC e-mail, [email protected], so that we may ensure you receive your thank you letter.
